The Atlanta Community
Neuroscience Exposition
This annual event, held in conjunction with Brain Awareness Month in March, is designed to increase awareness of neuroscience as it relates to everyday life. The expo provides opportunities for children and adults to learn about the brain through interactive booths developed by scientists, health professionals, faculty and students from CBN institutions. Among other activities, attendees can hold a real human brain, control a video game with their own brain waves, wear a glove that mimics Parkinson's tremors and build model neurons from beads.
