Abstract Guidelines

Abstract Preparation Guidelines
Please prepare abstracts following the Society for Neuroscience format (see example below).
Following these guidelines reduces the amount of formatting required, lessening the likelihood of printing errors.
- Use Bold titles
- Use initials for author's names, and an asterisk to identify the presenting author
- List full institutional affiliations of all authors
- List all sources of support
- Use common fonts, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Symbol, or Helvetica
- Define abbreviations, and use standard abbreviations where possible
- 2500 character maximum, including title, authors, affiliations, and support
- Save the document as MS Word (.doc) or rich text format (.rtf)
- E-mail completed abstract to: SENN@gsu.edu. Put “abstract” in the subject line.
