Biology encompasses the study of the origin, development, structure, function and distribution of all living organisms. It is one of the fastest growing scientific fields. Emerging areas of bioinformatics and biotechnology make it an exciting area of study.
The Medical Science concentration in Biology's M.S. program has a medical school acceptance rate of 90%.
The Biology Department offers a dual B.S./M.S. program where students can get both degrees within five years.
